Skiing the Sierra Nevada, Spain

(Friday 3/11)

Skiing at the Sierra Nevada Ski Station was a must because it was so close to us!

To get there we took the earliest bus from Lanjaron to Granada and then the 10 am bus from there to the Sierra Nevada. $20

We rented skiis and clothing at one of the first rental shops we spotted. $30

It's a little town up there, complete with piles of snow only an hour from where there wasn't any in Granada.

We bought a day-pass pass to the lifts. $50

All of the costs including lunch ($20) made for an expensive day trip but it was worth it.

We only got to ski for about 4 hours with lunch in between before we had to head back to return our gear and catch the 5'clock bus back to Granada.

The total cost for our Skiing day trip was: $120
